About Me

So this is me. I’m a twenty-something American living in the UK. After many years of doing the long distance thing, I married my English boyfriend and moved to England to join him in 2006. (I get asked all the time about how we met so I finally wrote about it.)

We started a blog called The Newlywed Game and I had high hopes that we would both write about our life. It soon became apparent that I was the real blogger in the family and Scott would rather just read it.

The blog was originally set up as just a way to keep in touch with family and friends. I never really thought I’d still be blogging after a couple years of marriage. That’s why putting “newlywed” in the title seemed to be a good (albeit terribly trite) idea at the time.

But, turns out, I really like blogging and I actually have a few faithful readers so a new-ish blog was born. Same material, different name.

What can you expect to read about? More about life on both sides of the ocean, for sure.

In the meantime, merriment (mostly) ensues…
