That’s great! I am looking forward to hearing more about the place. 688 sounds big to me: I don’t think I’ve ever lived in more than 400 in my adult life.

Glad that you liked the new place! It’s so funny how your expectations of ’space’ change. When we were travelling around Denver this weekend, I saw amazing houses…but they seemed just WAY too big with tiny yards. I didn’t like them at all. They seemed…obscene in their hugeness. I’d rather have my smaller place in London than the McMansions any day. What four years of living here gets ya – a new perspective!

Great post – so agree with you on the house sizes over here – my first place here was so incredibly tiny that I had to check whether I had enough room before I sneezed!
